[fr]Keir Surgical Donates Instruments and Volunteers to Operation Rainbow Canada – Friday, May 23 2014

February 2014 – Vancouver, BC – Keir Surgical has donated surgical instruments to Operation Rainbow Canada, a BC-based not-for-profit organization that provides free reconstructive surgery for cleft lip and cleft palate deformities to children and young adults in developing countries. Michael Fish, president of Keir Surgical’s parent company, Pacific Surgical, recently joined Operation Rainbow and a team of Canadian volunteers on a 10-day surgical mission to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The team of plastic surgeons, pediatric surgeons and anesthesiology residents performed 117 reconstructive operations.

Upon his return, Fish reflected upon his experiences: “The surgical mission to Cambodia with Operation Rainbow was a rewarding experience for me and the volunteers involved. On behalf of the Pacific Surgical family and myself, I would like to thank Operation Rainbow for the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way. I will never forget this experience.”
